Scrolling through Instagram after a day of working from home, I can't help but feel a huge sense of mum guilt as I'm faced with photos of my children's friends doing fun activities like sailing, go-karting and theme park trips. It only hits harder because I know those outings come with a hefty price tag, while my kids - quite contently - are keeping themselves occupied by making music with pots, pans and spoons in the other room while I've been holed away in the study.
