Jenna Ortega and Catherine Zeta-Jones reveal all about season two of the Netflix hit

After a three-year wait the highly-anticipated second series of Netflix's Wednesday returns to our screens this August. Based on the character Wednesday Addams from The Addams Family, the first series saw the teenager join the school for outcasts where her parents met. But it wasn't long before she found herself investigating a murder mystery. Here, the show's stars Jenna Ortega (Wednesday) and Catherine Zeta-Jones (Wednesday's mother, Morticia) fill us in on what we can expect from season two of the Tim Burton-directed show...

What has it been like seeing the massive success of this show?

It’s still quite difficult to comprehend! But it is wonderful that it’s been received so well, because there’s a lot of pressure. When we started the show, I was 18 and had never worked with a director as big as Tim [Burton]. I had led a show before but not with a character that was so well known and loved prior to me joining. It’s a relief, but I would be lying if I didn’t say that I still don’t feel super anxious or feel like I have something I need to live up to every day on set. Maybe that’s a good thing but it hasn't got easier.

What excited you the most about going into season two?
