He would certainly like to think so and not just because he always likes to have the last word!
But I only ask because he was one of the first Brits to change his mind over the then Meghan Markle.
In 2016 he met her for a drink (around the time she had her first date with one Prince Harry) after they’d chatted on Twitter (now X) – apparently she contacted him first – and the pair got on famously.
Then she unceremoniously ‘Markled’ (ghosted) him after her relationship went public – but Piers was still publicly a fan, saying she was perfect for Harry.
