Since becoming single last year, Ruth Langsford has had the ultimate glow up and is doing better than ever

The rise of RUTH!

It’s been a year since the news that the 14-year marriage between TV’s powerhouse couple Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes had come to an end.

And over the past twelve months Ruth has navigated her way through the painful split, admitting, ‘You can either let yourself crumble or you pick yourself up and get on with life. It’s a choice.’

It’s clear which path the Loose Women star has chosen. With a glam new look that defies her 65 years, Ruth is looking better than ever and has been enjoying girls’ holidays and nights out with her loyal celeb friends, as well as exploring exciting new career opportunities.

She says, ‘I am trying to now embrace the fact that I’m single and can make choices that are just about me.’

And a source close to Ruth tells Woman that the star is in a really good place. ‘Ruth has a new zest for life. Any divorce is tough but it’s so good to see her come out the other side and we are all so delighted to see her looking so radiant and, most importantly, happy. She’s determined to focus on the positives in her life rather than the negatives and is surrounding herself with good friends and family, and keeping herself busy with work.’

imageThere’s no doubt that Ruth is emerging stronger than ever and embracing her new chapter. And while she’s always cut a glamorous figure on TV, the star has undergone a major glow up over recent months, tweaking her hair to longer and blonder, as well as wowing fans with her trim new figure.

‘She has a new confidence and radiance about her’

ASK US ANYTHING

I'm single, and for ages I've had difficulty around sex with new partners. At first, I was just uncomfortable with penetration, but now it's painful, and I sometimes bleed. My best friend has been really great, encouraging me to relax and try different positions. But none of that's helping, and now she's saying I should see a doctor. But do I really need to? I'd rather sort this out for myself.
