HOORAH FOR ASCOT WEEK!

I don’t know about you, but I love Ascot.The hats. The frocks. The fillies. The flutters.

Whether you’re lucky enough to have bagged tickets to be there in person or will enjoy watching online, Royal Ascot is a feast for the senses.

We never know in advance which royals will come, but I would expect the King and Queen to be there on the first day.

Camilla loves racing (jumps are her favourite, but she also loves the Flat racing of Ascot) and I do hope she comes every day this week.

Of course, Ascot was the late Queen Elizabeth’s favourite event and she ensured she went every day. I’ll miss her this year – as, I’m sure, will everyone else.
