THE dinners, parties and constant coming and going of guests means the festive period can be a stressful time for owners and pets alike. This is especially true for anxious pets who can find it hard to deal with any intrusion on their territory.
Our pets can be subtle when letting us know they are not happy. This might mean a cat who hides away or who starts to urinate outside of their litter tray.
For a dog, it might be a case of acting quieter than usual or of their appetite dipping.
