The premise of this novel is pretty far-fetched and, as the story progresses, credibility is stretched even further, but I really didn't care because Your Friend and Mine is such a joyful read.

This is a tale that explores how things change as we reach middle-age. It covers grief and loss, love and long relationships, friendships and unfulfilled dreams. And it's utterly engaging.
