Feeling festive KATE'S MAGIC CHRISTMAS

The loving mum is putting all her energy into making it a jolly time for her kids
The last couple of Christmases have been something of a rollercoaster ride for Catherine, Princess of Wales.
It’s believed that Christmas 2023 may have been fraught due to her experiencing health issues that just weeks later would lead to abdominal surgery and later the revelation that she had been diagnosed with cancer. The royal family’s walk to church on the Sandringham estate for the Christmas Day service was the last time she was seen in public for several months.
In 2024, she’d made a slow return to official duties after her devastating diagnosis and months of chemotherapy, and Christmas was all about being grateful that she was getting back to good health. She announced in January that she was cancer-free.
Shortly before Christmas last year, Kate, 43, released a poignant message that appeared to reflect on the challenging year she and other members of the family had faced. She said, Christmas was one of her favourite times of the year, and was all about “love, kindness and forgiveness”.
This year, Kate’s Yuletide wish is a simple one — she’s keen for things to get back to normal. Rather than her health concerns being front and centre, she and husband Prince William, 43, want to focus on making wonderful memories for their children, Princes George, 12, and Louis, seven, and Princess Charlotte, 10.
