A piece of hi-fi kit costing *1 lakh+ could never really be called cheap, but while the A KEF LSX II looks like a 'simple' if very stylish pair of speakers, it is actually a whole hi-fi system in one. And to it you can add any other source you might care to mention - including a turntable or your TV. It's really clever stuff- and, most importantly, it sounds absolutely belting for the money you are paying.

Like the original LSXs, the cabinets are rear-ported, although KEF has added a couple of extra connectivity options. Amplification once again amounts to 200W, with 30W going to the tweeter and 70W to the woofer on each channel.

The big changes for the LSX II have happened beneath the surface. The DSP software has been completely redesigned, with some of the changes trickling down from its pricier siblings, the LS50 Wireless II and the floorstanding LS60 Wireless.
