Dive in on the most amazing app made for Watch Ultra
-
For the diving community, the Oceanic+ app for the Apple Watch Ultra is the equivalent to the launch of the first iPhone or Apple Watch, offering an Apple-powered dive computer on the wrist, with robust planning, a comprehensive post-dive experience, and much more.
INTRODUCING OCEANIC+
When Apple launched its new rugged Apple Watch Ultra earlier in the year, one of its biggest selling points was integration with the Oceanic+ app, designed to turn the wearable into an easy-to-use dive computer and change how drivers monitored their performance forever. After a couple of months of testing, the app has arrived, developed by Huish Outdoors in collaboration with Apple, and it allows scuba divers to take their Apple Watch Ultra up to 40 meters below the surface, with the all-new depth gauge and water temperature sensors, unlocking functionality that once seemed like a pipe dream. Combined, the new Apple Watch app and dedicated companion app for iOS offer the same advanced features as a dive computer - with more functionality to come.
Speaking of the launch of the new app, Mike Huish, the company's CEO, said Huish's purpose was "fueling the human spirit for adventure" and that "Oceanic+ on Apple Watch Ultra is one of the biggest innovations to hit the dive industry in a long time." He added that the firm was "creating an accessible, shareable, better diving experience for everybody." The company added that the new service was a "companion that communicates clear and timely information to divers" and had conducted hundreds of hours of underwater tests for safety.

U.S. automakers are increasingly redirecting capital and manufacturing capacity toward energy storage, entering a business where Tesla already has a long operational lead. The shift comes as growth in electric vehicle adoption has slowed from earlier projections, leaving battery factories built for EVs underutilized and prompting manufacturers to search for alternative demand for large-scale battery production.
