With the Hero Lectro series, we finally have a practical option for short-distance commuter cycling in India. Given tropical weather W conditions, cycling to work has never been a practical alternative in India. But, with an e-cycle, this changes, as one is able to effortlessly cycle to work with minimal (Pedelec Mode) and sometimes no pedalling (Cruise or Throttle mode). The Lectro F6i, with its detachable 11.6Ah battery, provides a range of up to 60km, and this can be extended further by doing more pedaling and less throttling or cruise mode. This range is adequate to manage any short commute rides in the city. In addition, since the battery of the Lectro F6i is detachable, it can be comfortably charged at home or at the office desk, while the cycle stays in the parking lot.
