Poco F7

What's the story?

If you've never heard of Poco before, all you really need to know is that it's an offshoot of Xiaomi that takes the same more-for-less approach.

The F7 is one of its cheapest models but still offers a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, 12GB of RAM and an aluminium frame. It's certainly not the most distinctive phone we're testing here, but at least it makes some effort.

Is it any good?

To get a current-gen Snapdragon CPU in such an affordable phone is scarcely believable; and while gamers may find reason to grumble, for day-to-day use you won't have any issues.
