With its signature glyph lights and widget-heavy version of Android, the Nothing Phone 3a Pro is a halfway house between last year's 2a and the pricier Phone 3. It feels nicer to hold than the former, with the flat polycarbonate frame giving plenty to grip onto.

The asymmetric design of the rear camera array does divide opinion, but there's no question they're a cut above the norm. Mind you, this is the most expensive of all the phones on test.
