It replicates the look of classic cameras from any decade between the 1930s and today, so if you select the '60s the 15-second videos it shoots will look like Super 8 (complete with spinning reel sound effects), while the '80s setting mimics the look of 35mm film. You can adjust the strength of the effect and it even changes the resolution to match: all modes except the 2020s, which ups the quality to 1440x1080, are captured at 800x600.
