■ Acer left us quite impressed when they first sent us their telly last year. The panel was very well balanced and had great tonality when it came to the colours. The overall design left us wanting a bit more as it felt a tad industrial in comparison with the competition but was on point for the price.

■ This time around things are a bit different. The new I series range features 32in, 43in, 50in and 55in variants, with the 32in variant being an HD option. We got the 43in version you see in the picture and it does look quite slick.
