The more you read about the climate crisis, the more inevitable it starts to look that the planet is just going to keep getting warmer and more wrecked. Well, it seems developer Sharkmob is at least going to have fun with this apocalyptic scenario in its take on the extraction shooter, where the world is being torn apart by extreme weather.

So they could have called it We're All Buggered, but the title actually refers to how players will survive these harsh conditions: you wear exo-rigs that can be customised with different modules to enhance your abilities and tailor your loadout. It's a change from the grittier, grounded approach of most extraction shooters. Indeed, you'll be able to clamber up and glide around the open world quite freely.
