Upon initial inspection, the NW-A306 appears to be a simplified variant of the NW-WM1ZM2 player. Its design consists of a rectangular, milled aluminium body with rounded edges, sizeable physical buttons, and a 3.6-inch touch screen. The major contrast is that it no longer includes the prominent semicircular extensions found on the top of the older model.

Build quality is top notch and every bit of the new NW-A306 feels premium to touch. It runs on Android 12, so getting around the controls is pretty easy and intuitive, although for those of you with large hands, manoeuvring around the tiny screen might get cumbersome.
