Technology has changed the way leadership works, not completely but in certain aspects. One significant change is in communication. Technology contributes to the speed of decision-making and strategy execution by providing more information. Leaders need to be agile, adapting and modifying strategies to stay competitive. Technology also allows leaders to communicate widely and constantly, making them more visible. It's like living in a glass house where everything is known. Effective use of technology is essential for leveraging communication. Overall, technology has influenced leadership in three main areas: enhancing knowledge about competition and the environment, increasing agility in product development, and aiding in communication strategies.

To stay updated on emerging technologies impacting leadership, it's important to be well-informed and have a team that assesses partners, vendors, and technologies affecting your products, services, and operations.
