Slim and smart it may be, but QNAP's HS-264 is rather underwhelming considering its high price

QNAP’s HS-264 looks more like a set-top box than a NAS enclosure, and with some reason: it’s pitched as a home media server, and comes with features such as dual 4K HDMI ports and a fanless design.
This is a two-bay NAS, offering the usual two-disk RAID options, but it has no NVMe slots. You do get dual 2.5GbE ports, though, and two USB-A ports capable of 10Gbits/sec.
