Honor MagicBook Art14 (2025)
October 2025

A classy laptop that packs a gorgeous, high-res OLED screen, bags of power and a pop-out webcam
The MagicBook Art has a superb OLED panel and packs plenty of power within
When I reviewed the Qualcomm version of the Honor MagicBook Art last year (see issue 366, p52), I mourned the fact it wasn't due to go on sale in the UK. With this 2025 update, Honor switches to Intel inside and brings it to the UK for £1,500 - a high price, but Honor tends to sweeten the deal with money-off vouchers and freebies.
Everything I loved about last year's model is still here, including an immaculate design. I tested the Emerald Green version, with its soft, matte finish giving it a real lift over the sober Dell 14 Premium (see p50). It's incredibly compact, barely larger than this A4 magazine, and weighs a mere 1kg. Using magnesium alloy achieves this, and the result feels well built with no obvious weak spots.
