We reveal the state of play with Google's AI-enhanced operating system

Chromebook Plus with Gemini launched in May 2024 with a limited range of Al features, including generative Al wallpapers and Magic Editor for Google Photos.
This allows you to delete unwanted objects, much as you can on a Pixel phone. Naturally, Google has added more Al features since.
The strongest additions are “Help me write”, “Help me read” and Live Translate. “Help me write” provides access to Gemini’s text-generation features. Click inside a text box, an email message or a Google Doc, and you'll be prompted to let Gemini help, and all you need to do is offer basic instructions and context, click Create and you're away.
