The Thunderbird team has announced the release of Thunderbird 142, the newest stable version of the free, open source, and cross-platform email client available for GNU/Linux, macOS, Windows, and Android.

Among the most notable enhancements, Thunderbird 142 introduces support for adding visual signatures to PDF attachments opened within the client-an important step forward for users who rely on Thunderbird for document workflows. The release also includes a new 'Reset Folder Order' option to restore default folder sorting in the pane, along with expanded folder copy support within both mail server accounts and local folders.
