ONE MONTH LATER

SAMSUNG GALAXY Z FOLD7

For the past Month, I've made the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 my absolute daily driver, swapping out my previous iPhone for this foldable powerhouse.

From morning commutes to late-night work sessions and weekend gaming marathons. As someone who's always on the go, I needed a device that could seamlessly blend productivity, entertainment, and creativity without missing a beat. Here's my in-depth analysis of the key aspects after 30 days of real-world use.

DESIGN & BUILD

From the moment of unboxing, the Z Fold7's design became my favourite. At just 8.9mm thick when folded and an astonishingly slim 4.2mm when unfolded, it slips into my pocket effortlessly, weighing just 215 grams. Over the Month, I've carried it everywhere, from travelling events to coffee runs, and its titanium frame with the ceramic finish feels incredibly refined in hand, like holding a piece of modern art rather than a phone. The Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the back and Gorilla Glass Armor on the 6.5-inch cover screen have held up beautifully against daily scuffs and minor drops, while the IP48 rating gave me peace of mind during a rainy evening jog.

The hinge mechanism is a highlight, smooth as butter after hundreds of folds, with no creaks or looseness developing over time. Sure, the camera bumps cause a tiny wobble when laid flat, but it's negligible and hasn't affected my video calls or desk setups. Compared to other bulkier foldables, I found that this device's sleek profile makes it my preferred choice for one-handed use on the cover screen while quickly scrolling through notifications. After a month of use, I can say it's not only durable but also elegant in a way that attracts attention without feeling gimmicky.
