Wade will give his all for Gloucester one final time

CHRISTIAN Wade promises Gloucester fans he remains fully focused on ending his short stint in the West Country all guns blazing and helping them into the play-offs.
The lighting quick wing aims to crank up the pace even more so when Northampton visit Kingsholm on Saturday and the Cherry and Whites’ top four hopes will live or die.
Wade, 34, has signed a deal to switch to rugby league and Wigan Warriors this summer, but that will be at the back of his mind when he hopes to add to his seven tries from 10 appearances.
Gloucester, in fifth, need a bonus win and, with second placed Leicester unlikely to falter at home to Newcastle, their eyes will be turned on events involving third placed Sale and Bristol who are fourth.
Wade, who won one England cap in 2013, believes the power of the renowned ‘Shed’ can at least ensure George Skivington’s men complete their part of the bargain with a win over a Northampton side fresh from their Champions Cup final exploits.
