STEVE Borthwick has been urged to make in-form Sale star Tom Roebuck a starting winger in the Six Nations. c
Roebuck enjoyed an outstanding game in Friday’s 29-7 Champions Cup demolition of Racing 92, scoring one and brilliantly creating another for Joe Carpenter.
Having made his England bow against Japan in the summer, Roebuck struck his first Red Rose try in last month’s victory against the Brave Blossoms at Twickenham.
As the 23-year-old continues to shine brightly for his club, Sale captain Ben Curry believes Roebuck can claim a regular starting spot at Test level.
The homegrown wideman was left out of England's two summer Tests against New Zealand but came off the bench against South Africa last month and then scored against Japan.
