Dramatic late win boosts leaders

A LAST-minute converted try saw Tonbridge Juddians snatch victory from the jaws of defeat at Barnes.
It was always going to be a close game and so it proved as wing Duncan Tout went over for the late try and Tom White kicked the conversion to deny Barnes.
The visitors started the much more energetic and muscular team, and Barnes looked shell shocked during the first ten minutes, which saw Tonbridge centre Shadyn Osgood bursting through several Barnes defenders to score. With Sam Evans slotting the extras, they went into early 7-0 lead.
Barnes, though, gradually grew into the game, and took control with their forwards winning the arm-wrestle over their Kent opposition.
With half-time proaching, hooker Matt Humphreys crashed over for Barnes and Jack Martin converted to make it all square.
