QUORN player-boss Ryan Beswick won't be drawn on whether he is aiming to make his side Northern Premier League Midlands Division 'invincibles' after a stunning first half of the season.

The Reds have taken the Step 4 division by storm this season, boasting one of only two unbeaten records in the to seven tiers of English football with Isthmian Southeast side Ramsgate - with 15 wins and three draws ahead of yesterday's trip to lowly Rugby Town.

That impressive record with just two defeats coming in the FA Cup and FA Trophy has seen Beswick's men storm nine points clear of Corby Town in only their second season at Step 4, with established Non-League names such as Worcester City and AFC Rushden & Diamonds among the chasing pack.

While an unbeaten campaign is still a long way off, astonishingly it would not be Quorn's first, having won 35 matches and drawn three in the Leicestershire Senior League 26 years ago.
