Milteye (Harriet Bethell), 8 April - Pontefract - Racing TV Sky Channel 424 Handicap

Formerly with Dermot Weld, Milteye became rather disappointing for him and was picked up relatively cheaply by new connections in the winter. He looked very much in need of this outing pre-race, plenty left to work on fitness-wise but has run well to finish second to the match-fit and in-form Partisan Hero, another to make pretty much all on the day. You'd like to think he’ll come on plenty for this effort and he should be winning races in the near future for his new yard.
