THE King George VI Chase on Boxing Day was one of the best for a long time and the speed figures were impressive too.

It was a blanket finish and THE JUKEBOX MAN, BANBRIDGE, GAELIC WARRIOR and JANGO BAIE all clocked an impressive 162 for their efforts.

Looking at them with the Cheltenham Gold Cup in mind, we know Banbridge doesn't stay and needs decent ground so is better suited to the Ryanair or Aintree.

The Jukebox Man keeps being underestimated but this was just his fourth spin over fences and he's improved each time. Even after this win he's 8-1 for the big race, a point bigger than Jango Baie who is also on the upgrade.
