Lady driver Arshi Gupta's historic feat

Arshi Gupta, the only female driver in the Micro Max grid, delivered what may be one of the most remarkable performances by a woman in recent decades in Indian karting while competing on equal terms with boys. She won both the Pre-Final and the Final in the same round of the MECO-FMSCI National Karting Championship which concluded on Sept 1 at the Madras International Karting arena.

Chennai's Rivaan Dev Preetham from MSport completely dominated the week-end and remained unbeaten in the Mini Max category through Heats, PreFinals and the Final. His mindset, race tactics and talent were on show in ample measure. Likewise, Rayo Racing's Kian Shah of Mumbai also won both the races.

Meanwhile, Bengaluru's Ishaan Madesh (Peregrine Racing) took the top step in the Senior Max Final after a weekend of mixed results where he came third in the pre-final won by Aahil.
