SCAVENGER HUNT
Issue 63
|The Week Junior Science+Nature UK
The summer holidays are almost here and that means The Week Junior Science+Nature's Scavenger Hunt is back.
-

We're challenging our readers to get outside and track down 10 natural objects from the list on the next page. You don't need to collect them or take them home, just tick off the items as you go. While you're uncovering nature's treasures, you can also snap pictures and submit them into our photo contest for a chance to win some big prizes.
Go wild!
To enter the photo contest, you need to take a photograph of something that shows nature's beauty. Then, ask a grown-up to submit it to us via the competition website. It could be something that you have discovered on your Scavenger Hunt, but it doesn't need to be.
You can create stunning pictures of animals, plants and wild places wherever you live and whatever camera you use. You don't need fancy equipment smartphone cameras can take fantastic images. The judges are looking for well-composed, colourful and creative images that show the striking beauty of nature. Can you find bold and interesting patterns, unusual textures or a fascinating shape? This year's competition is even bigger and better than before, with not one but TWO cameras up for grabs, plus a book bundle so get outside, go wild and start scavenging!
