'Israel's Gaza offensive amounts to genocide'

ISRAELI AUTHORITIES and security forces have committed, and continue to commit, acts of genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza strip, says a paper released by a UN-mandated Independent International Commission of Inquiry (COI) on September 16.

The cor, which does not speak on behalf of the UN although it is set up by the agency, has conducted legal analysis of Israel's conduct since the start of its military offensive in Gaza in October 2023 till July 2025. Its findings, presented to the UN's Human Righ
