If you've ever wanted to grow plants like an astronaut, then the Auk could be a fun and futuristic way to keep your kitchen stocked with fresh herbs. It’s essentially a hydroponic system: seeds are planted in pots filled with ground-up coconut fibre, positioned above a water reservoir. You plug a set of nutrient capsules into the
system and a smart ‘chip’ tells the AUK what you've planted. From there, the system takes over: regulating light, nutrients and water to give you lush, harvest-ready herbs in around four to six weeks.

We're big fans of Sky's Glass system, which brings together broadcast and on-demand content into an all-in-one TV that uses WiFi rather than a satellite dish. The new Glass Air trims down the 7.1 speaker setup in favour of a sleeker design (though it still offers Dolby Surround Sound). It's a 4K HDR screen, powered by quantum dot LED technology with an operating system that offers voice controls. The best part? The price. You can pay for Sky Glass on top of a Sky subscription, and the base model will add just £6 a month to your bills.
