Traumatised by her sister's death, Jess accepts an invitation to a ritual-packed spiritual retreat from her estranged pal, Kim. Repairing their friendship is quickly put on hold, as within just over half an hour, the wheels have well and truly come off on Glory Island. Kim's scarpered, breaking the ritual circle mid-chant, leaving the immediate world open to the Gloom - a series of other-worldly realms that sap Jess' positive energy.
