Rare is it that a single clumsy mistake can spoil an otherwise pretty wonderful experience. Such is, sadly, the case with Syberia: The World Before, the fourth instalment in the decade-spanning adventure game series taking place in an alternate world driven by clockwork automata. A game of truly tremendous craft, imagination, wonderful scene setting and atmosphere, a lovely story to follow...undone by one major but needless misstep.
