Look, if you want to make lurid jokes about medieval romantic encounters, that’s up to you; we’re here to talk about a videogame. Specifically, the spiritual successor to deckbuilding brawler Fights In Tight Spaces (there’s a clue in the name that you may have picked up on). If you know it, much will be familiar here – with a few significant twists.

The basics remain the same. It’s still turn-based combat, the spaces are indeed still very tight, and you still build a deck of virtual cards that are used for attack defence, and even movement. It’s not, therefore, taking a traditional approach to card games. This is much less poker and more poking people with swords; less snap, more snapping necks.
