Now we have for review the Leica Vario - Elmar 100 - 400 mm F46.3 telezoom lens for MFT cameras. Panasonic has been working quietly with Leica for many years now. This lens has been designed and certified by Leica and manufactured by Panasonic in China. The word ' Vario' in German means zoom.

Design & Build Quality

This Leica designed lens has an effective focal length of 200 mm 800 mm in 35 mm equivalent terms. An admirable focal range indeed! The construction is all metal. The dimensions of the lens are 83 mm x 171.5 mm and the lens weighs in at 985 gms. In addition, the lens is weather sealed. The lens features Power Optical Image Stabilisation. Build quality is very good.
