All the three lenses are available in different mounts (in Sony E-mount/L-mount, Canon EF-M mount, Fujifilm X-mount, and Micro Four Thirds). These lenses are compact and lightweight. The lens on review is the 56 mm for Nikon Z bodies.

Design & Build Quality

The Sigma 56 mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary lens is well built and has a good finish. The lens mount is made from brass for strength and durability. A rubber seal at the mount prevents dust and water splashes from entering the lens. The lens is made in Japan.

‘DC’ indicates lens is designed for APS-C sensor cameras; ‘DN’ indicates that the lens is designed for Mirrorless cameras.
