How did you start your photography journey? Please share your favourite genres and also about your inspirations and mentors in photography. 

My journey started around 7 years ago in a very strange but motivated way. I was never a photographer or an artist. I chose photography and became a self taught photographer as a way to get over alcoholism. Every sunset and sunrise was a thrill to capture then on and how to capture lightning became a dream. I gradually saved up and bought my first Nikon camera and the rest is history. My inspirations till date are Peter McKnnon, Brandon Woelfel, Francisco Negroni and more.

One of your images was recently displayed in Times Square, New York. Please share the story behind this event and your feeling after seeing it. 

My photo was displayed as part of the NFT NYC event at Times Square New York 2023 and it was like a dream come true. Last year also one of my Mumbai photos was displayed but this year it was displayed at a grander scale and venue. I was proud to represent Mumbai and India at a world stage with a photo that is extremely rare and close to my heart.

Most of your popular images depict Mumbai. What makes the city special from a photographer’s perspective?
