Head for the hills

Capture the changing seasons with autumn heather and your guide

Purple heather-clad hills make for a great sight, but just because autumn is kicking into gear doesn't mean you should neglect it now. Instead, head back out to use the rustic gold and brown colours of the heather as your big foreground for the shot. You will want to get in amongst the heather so it fills the foreground and, where possible, use leading lines to draw the eye through the image.
