ESSENTIALS OF CLEANSING BEFORE PRE-CONCEPTION
October - December 2022

In today's modern times, all of us are exposed to toxins and environmental hazards around us and some are inevitable.
Have you ever wondered about how important it is to cleanse your body? Cleansing should be an integral part of our rituals to remove toxins from our body & promote optimal health, especially when preparing for our babies. Most of the pregnancies globally are unprepared & unplanned but the dynamics need to gradually shift and every future parent should be enlightened and conscious about preparing their body before they even conceive.
The essence of a cleanse is to look into the body as a whole that brings an overall holistic approach to it by detoxifying at a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level. All these aspects need to be integrated together to make a nesting place for their future offspring.
Preconception Health Care must begin long before conception, at least 4- 6 months prior for both the couples, with or without fertility issues. Both the partners should be on this journey together as the father's health can also have a major impact on their newborn.
During the cleansing period, do not try to conceive in the first 4 - 6 months as that can cause adverse effects.
With those factors in mind, let's dive deep, here is a roadmap below that can guide you about how you can gently cleanse your body holistically and with a 360 degree perspective.
A Nutrient Dense Plate Addressing any nutrient deficiencies is important at this stage and that can be achieved by incorporating a diet which is abundant in whole grains, leafy greens, millets, good quality proteins, essential fatty acids, especially focusing on organic, local, seasonal & sustainably sourced produce.
