DMW, Global Anti-Scam Alliance link up to shield OFWs from scams

AS online scams become more sophisticated and increasingly borderless, the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) and the Global Anti-Scam Alliance (GASA) recently signed an agreement to strengthen protection for overseas Filipino workers (OF Ws) against cross-border fraud.
The agreement sets a clear direction to enhance digital safety programs for OFWs, deepen cross-border intelligence sharing, and expand access to practical tools and resources that help migrant workers recognize, prevent, and respond to scams before real damage is done.
