People would have to pay to park outside church at Xmas
Proposed changes to parking charges in Ilkley are so stingy they could have been written by Ebenezer Scrooge, a councillor said.
Tory ward councillor Andrew Loy said a potential shakeup of parking charges, which include the scrapping of free parking on bank holidays, could see people having to pay to park outside church on Christmas Day.
