Powerhouse pack man Palasia puts pen to contract extension at Rhinos

Samoan international Keenan Palasia's previous deal was due to expire this autumn, but he is now committed to Rhinos until the end of 2029. Leeds announced the news on Saturday, an hour after revealing second-rower James McDonnell will depart the club following the 2026 season.

Brisbane-born Palasia joined Rhinos a year ago from NRL club Gold Coast Titans and made 28 appearances last term, all but two in the starting lineup. Able to play at prop or loose-forward, he has been awarded the number 13 jersey for the upcoming campaign.
