Majority don't want changes

The scheme for Great George Street is another brick in the wall being built by the council to deter, obstruct and confuse car drivers in their attempts to navigate the city.

Another attempt to appease the vociferous minority who seem to ignore everyone else and their needs.

Many visitors to the LGI find parking on Great George Street more convenient than trying Calverley Street, the Jubilee Wing or multi storey as those spaces are generally already occupied.

Some people are now finding it easier to travel to Wharfedale Hospital for some appointments rather than face the tribulations encountered around the LGI.

It is reported that the scheme is being funded by the City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement.
