Historic house to flip tradition

It's not every day that a grand stately home invites you to juggle on the lawn or dance through its marble halls — but this summer, Wentworth Woodhouse is flipping tradition on its head.

From August 1, the much-loved Rotherham landmark is launching its “House of Fun” season, a joyful celebration designed with families firmly in mind.

The historic house and gardens will burst into life with circus performers, interactive exhibitions, hands-on activities, and a dash of mischief in every corner.

Gone are the hushed tones - Wentworth Woodhouse is most definitely not a whisper-while-you-walk stately home this summer.
