Former Leeds favourite all set for shock move

Former Leeds United fan favourite Liam Cooper looks like he's found a new club and is set to join one of their closest Yorkshire rivals.
NEW HOME: Former Leeds captain Liam Cooper could be joining Sheffield Wednesday.

Cooper made 284 appearances for the Whites across all competitions between 2014 and 2024 - including 66 in the Premier League - wearing the captain's armband for the majority of his Elland Road stay and leading Leeds to a Championship title in 2020.
The Scotland international finally left United at the end of his contract in the summer of 2024, going on to join Bulgarian side CSKA Sofia, where he made 27 appearances before once again becoming a free agent this summer just gone.
