Feel the burn with this highly entertaining spy comedy drama

While 'prestige' TV is all well and good - you know, the top quality dramas, the stuff you feel you should be watching to keep up with the Joneses that's sometimes a bit worthy, obviously tilting for the gongs come award seasons - sometimes you just want something that won't make you think too hard.
Sometimes you don't want to be challenged by TV, you just want an hour/45 minutes/ whatever that will - crazy notion thisentertain you. And if stuff regularly blows up too, well, that's a bonus.
Which brings me neatly to my latest brain-free binge-watching obsession, Burn Notice.
It originally ran for seven seasons from 2007 to '13 and all episodes are now streaming on Disney+.
A comedy/drama set in Miami, Florida, it centres around the escapades of former spy Michael Westen (Jeffrey Donovan).
Previously living a James Bond-esque, international jetsetting lifestyle, in the opening episode he finds his wings clipped mid-mission in Nigeria.
Things go spectacularly wrong for Westen as his mission falls apart and he manages to barely escape with his life, waking up back in his hometown of Miami, where it soon becomes clear he's being surveilled by the FBI.
It turns out he's been served with the titular burn notice.
This means he's considered too much of a liability by his employers, so he's been cut adrift with no access to any of his old resources, his bank account, or even his identity. It's like being fired with extreme prejudice.
