The Gurdaspur Karate training centre brings laurel for the district by winning gold medals: Romesh Mahajan

The Gur-daspur Karate training Cen-tre which is running under the kind support and quid-ance of District Child Wel-fare Council Gurdaspur is getting name and fame by winning number of gold, sil-ver and bronze medals at various competitions held from time to time.

In Re-cently held State level championship at Ludhiana in Kio P unjab State karate championships on 24-25 May 2025 total 23 champi-ons of this karate do asso-ciation GURDASPUR won 14 gold medals, 7 silver medals and 2 bronze medals. These champions were honoured for their hardwork in the celebration held at Govt Sr Sec School for girls Gurdaspur where Romesh Mahajan National Awardee chairman karate do as-sociation Gurdaspur was the chief guest. They were awarded with Certificates and medals. At this mo-ment lion Kanwarpal Singh, Zone Chairman Lions club Kahnuwan Fateh also remains present and appreciates them.

The list of champions who won first second and third positions are as follows

List of medalists:

1. Kritika Sharma won gold in Kata and Kumite both .

2. Agamjot kaur won gold in Ku-mite and Silver in Kata,

3, Gurshabad bhalla won gold in Kumite.
