Punjab govt eradicate drugs through people's movement in state: Dhaliwal

As part of the Punjab government's war against drugs, thousands of members of Village Defence Committees, Ward Defence Committees, Sarpanches, Panches, Nambardars, and Councillors from Kapurthala district pledged in the presence of Cabinet Ministers Mr. Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, Mr. Lal Chand Kataruchak, and Mr. Mohinder Bhagat to build a mass movement against drug abuse.

During a massive event held at the Rail Coach Factory-Sultanpur Road, a large crowd declared that they would take the state government’s anti-drug campaign to every village, town, street, and neighborhood.
